Passenger Door Wont Unlock - I physically attempted to move the lever over inside the car and it still won't open.. Oct 17, 2008 · passenger door wont unlock / open vue tech. I physically attempted to move the lever over inside the car and it still won't open. Today the passenger door wouldn't open from inside the car. Dec 02, 2018 · try looking at the gaps along the door, between the door itself and the rest of the body. Oct 28, 2021 · there's an option in the dash menu whether the driver's side handle or the first push of the keyfob button should unlock both doors, or just the driver's, the idea being that if you drive alone 99% of the time, then there's no point in wearing out the passenger's side motor for no reason.
I physically attempted to move the lever over inside the car and it still won't open. Today the passenger door wouldn't open from inside the car. Usually you can pull on the handle several times and it finally works. New to the forum, but have had my car since may 2008. If it appears the door is sagging even a little, it may be binding the locking mechanism on the jamb latch.
